About

studio b_w.jpg

I studied Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins where I explored materials and craftsmanship. I focused on stitching and developed a technique I could apply to paper and card. For me it was about taking a traditional craft and making it contemporary through the application of colour, eco-materials and word play.

My aim in creating the LG Studio is to make pieces that are affordable but also don’t overlook the smaller details. I work with both card and metal - two completely different materials - one is fragile and the other tough. As a maker I enjoy adapting and experimenting with each material.

It is very satisfying as the maker to make work in collaboration with a customer, each item is made specifically for you.

Press

I chose to work in small batches, for me it gives me the most control creatively and allows me to constantly improve the items I produce.

Delivery of hand-made items will be 1-2 weeks depending on the commission, which will be confirmed when ordering. If you have an occasion coming up and need it sooner just email me.

Small batches

Materials have always been important to my practice when sourcing I making sure they are sustainable and ethical. Making work that is kind to the environment is a priority.
